Here's a few photos taken at 'FIT at the River, on Stone and
River in Tucson.
More photos coming.

Shannon, Todd, & Dr. Steve Knope
I've been asked to write a story on this motley crew, so here
goes.
In the first photo from left to right in the back we have
Todd a personal trainer, one of the owners of FIT at the River. His
partner Steve, will be photographed and plastered on this page soon.
Second is Brian, also a personal trainer. He trains me (I call it abuse),
and he does a good job, but I think he's trying to kill me. Next is
trainer Jeff. Jeff is a quiet guy around the gym, but I'll bet he isn't
when he's partying. Lastly in that row is Taz. Taz trains the
geriatric crowd - should I say rehabilitates. He's a quiet guy with a dry
sense of humor.
In the front is a cute little chickadee named
Kristy. She has a great attitude and takes a lot of abuse from
the guys there. Of course not from me, I wouldn't think of teasing her.
:) She's a doll!
In the next photo is Rudy. Rudy
trains with Brian (the guy hugging him) just before I do. Rudy will attest
to the abuse we take. He's been sent to the doctor's office three times
while training. That Brian is tough. LOL
Sitting
behind the desk is Vicki. She is one of the nicest most polite ladies I've
ever met. She's also a trainer. Listen guys! You'll work
harder and train better in front of a woman so why not get over to this gym and
give Vicki a try. :)
Sitting in the torture chair is Angie.
She's a masseuse and a very good one. She's also a very nice lady with a
good sense of humor. Here's a little secret - she can't say no. To a
doughnut - that is!
Have you ever been to a gym where everybody
got along so good that the clients take turns bringing in food? I saw a
lady carry in a whole bag of grapefruit. Then a lovely young lady Amy, who
works out brutally with Jeff, brought
in some Salsa. Of course Rudy went out and got chips to go with it.
Another half hour on the treadmill - Rudy. Next day, Rudy brought in doughnuts.
Another two hours on the treadmill. I think Rudy is in the treadmill
business - not the bakery business. Anyway, Angie couldn't resist a doughnut.
The older folks who train (rehab) there must think the younger
crowd is nuts. Eat your heart out! Come to think of it - that's what
the doughnuts will do for you.
There are a few others I'd like to
get photos of and will try. There's Christa,
who is a very cute little blond with a great figure and there's a cute physical therapist
with dark hair (don't know here name) and Matt who owns the PT division. (I
think I got that right. If not, I have no doubt that they will correct
me.)
Shannon is working hard to get in shape (it's working), and
I'm sorry I won't be around to watch her do that this summer. She
certainly brightens the place and makes it more fun to be there.
Amy
shown with Jeff is the salsa lady mentioned above. She is a very nice lady
and works very hard in the gym.
Of course I had to get a photo
of me in there.
The final photo is of Dr. Steve Knope who has a
medical practice there at the Heart Hospital. Dr. Knope's practice is,
Internal Medicine. (Gee.. I wonder what external medicine is. Could that
be what most guys practice? Anyone for a game of doctor?) :)
Well
that's if for this year. See you in the fall.
I love that
place.
Joe
P.s.: Thanks for all the entertainment,
Shannon. Heheh!
